By creating an account or using DNote you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement. Accounts registered by automated means are not permitted.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
DNote provides tools for DJs and venues to discover each other, communicate, and manage bookings and events. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not:
Certain features require a paid subscription billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
DNote facilitates connections between DJs and venues. We are not a party to booking agreements and are not liable for disputes between users. Both parties are responsible for honouring confirmed bookings and communicating any changes promptly.
DNote is a marketplace platform that connects DJs (service providers) with clients (service seekers). DJs are independent sellers on the marketplace — they are not employees, contractors, or agents of DNote. DNote does not control the manner, method, or means by which DJs perform their services.
By offering services on DNote, you represent and warrant that:
DNote does not verify immigration status, work authorisation, or professional licencing. Misrepresentation of eligibility to provide services is grounds for immediate account termination.
Booking payments are processed through Stripe. By accepting payments through DNote, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. DNote collects platform fees as disclosed on the pricing page.
DJs who earn above the IRS reporting threshold ($600) will receive a 1099-K tax form issued directly by Stripe. DNote may also provide annual earnings summaries for your records. You are solely responsible for your tax obligations.
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, music links, descriptions). By posting content you grant DNote a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. We may remove content that violates these terms.
DNote is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings page.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
